SCRIPT:

(Gossipy Girl Mouse 1 and 2 enter, whispering excitedly.)

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1: Did you hear? Mr. and Mrs. Mouse’s daughter is the most beautiful mouse in the world!

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 2: She’s gorgeous! Every mouse wants to marry her!

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1: Too bad her parents say no to everyone.

(They giggle and exit. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse enter, pacing.)

MRS. MOUSE: We must find someone worthy of our daughter! Someone powerful!

MR. MOUSE: Definitely! That last mouse didn’t even have teeth!

MRS. MOUSE: And the other one had a tail longer than a shoelace! No, no, no!

MR. MOUSE: I’ve made up my mind. She will marry the most powerful in the world!

MRS. MOUSE: And who is that?

MR. MOUSE: The Sun!

(The Sun enters, glowing and proud.)

MRS. MOUSE (sweetly): Oh, Mr. Sun! You shine so bright. You must be the strongest of all. Will you marry our daughter?

MR. MOUSE: Yes! You are powerful and dazzling — the perfect match!

SUN: Well, thank you, but I’m not the strongest. When the Cloud comes, it covers me completely.

(The Cloud enters, covering the Sun. The Sun exits.)

MR. MOUSE: Oh, Cloud! You block out the Sun! You must be the most powerful!

CLOUD: Not really. I cry to water the flowers… but I’m pushed around by the Wind.

MRS. MOUSE: Then the Wind must be the one!

(The Wind blows in, spinning across the stage. The Cloud exits.)

MR. AND MRS. MOUSE (chasing after the Wind): Mr. Wind! Mr. Wind! Stop for just a moment!

(The Wind halts, whistling.)

WIND: I’m busy flying across the sky! What do you want?

MRS. MOUSE: We want you to marry our daughter. You’re strong, you’re fast, you’re everywhere!

WIND: I blow, I swirl, I roar… but I can’t get past the Wall.

MR. MOUSE: The Wall?

WIND: Yes! The Wall stops me every time!

(The Wind exits with a loud whistle. Mr. and Mrs. Mouse struggle to stay on their feet.)

MRS. MOUSE: Phew! What a breeze!

MR. MOUSE: Let’s go talk to the Wall.

(They approach the Wall and shout loudly.)

MR. MOUSE: Mr. Wall! Mr. Wall! Can you hear us?

MRS. MOUSE: He’s old and full of holes, remember?

WALL (grumbling): Yes, yes! I can hear you. What is it?

MR. MOUSE: Would you marry our daughter? You’re the strongest of all!

WALL: Me? Ha! I’m full of holes — made by mice! You want someone powerful? Find the mouse who made the holes!

(Mr. and Mrs. Mouse gasp. The Young Boy Mouse enters shyly from behind the wall.)

YOUNG BOY MOUSE: I made those holes… and I’m also in love with your daughter.

MR. MOUSE: You? But—where would you live?

YOUNG BOY MOUSE: Right here! I’ve made a cozy home inside the wall — with a kitchen, a living room, and even a tiny hallway!

MRS. MOUSE: A hardworking mouse with a big heart! He’s the most powerful of all!

MR. MOUSE: You will marry our daughter!

(The Girl Mouse enters and hugs the Young Boy Mouse lovingly.)

GIRL MOUSE: I knew one day we’d be together!

(Gossipy Girl Mice enter dancing.)

GOSSIPY GIRL MOUSE 1 AND 2: Congratulations! You’re the perfect couple!

(Everyone dances in celebration.)

NARRATOR: And so, the mice discovered that true strength isn’t about shining the brightest, floating the highest, or blowing the hardest — it’s about kindness, determination, and love. The wedding was the happiest the village had ever seen… and their little home inside the wall was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of cheese.
