NARRATOR: A long time ago, in a forest far, far away, there lived a grumpy Leprechaun.
LEPRECHAUN: Squirrel, get down from that tree and don’t eat all the nuts. They belong to me, do you understand?!. Rabbit, stop hopping around, you make me angry!.
NARRATOR: The little animals didn’t care how bad he treated them, and they always follow him to the river every time he went fishing.
RABBIT: Hey grumpy Leprechaun, I cut this four-leaf clover just for you!. It will give you good luck, and hopefully it will make you smile.
SQUIRREL: And take this buckeye, and keep it in your pocket as a good luck charm!.
NARRATOR: Suddenly, it started to rain. They hid under a tree, and waited until the rain was over. Then, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the clear sky.
LEPRECHAUN: Leave me alone, and don’t follow me, I have to go fishing!.
NARRATOR: The Leprechaun ran so fast, that he fell into the niver.
LEPRECHAUN: Help me!. I’m drowning, and I don’t know how to swim!.
NARRATOR: A huge Crocodile emerged in the water, opened his big mouth, and took the Leprechaun out of the river.
SQUIRREL: Leprechaun, are you okay?.
NARRATOR: The scared Leprechaun hugged the little animals.
LEPRECHAUN: Thank you for your love, kindness, and friendship.
CROCODILE: Look, there’s a treasure pot at the end of the rainbow, and it only appears when a Leprechaun has a change of heart!.
NARRATOR: They all ran towards the pot, which was filled with candies, cookies, pastries, chocolates, and all kinds of goodies.
LEPRECHAUN: This is fantastic!. Let’s eat to celebrate our friendship!.
SQUIRREL, RABBIT, CROCODILE: Yes!.
NARRATOR: And they ate, sang, and danced all night long.
