Once upon a time, there was a big forest with lots of animals living in it. One day, a little squirrel named Sammy was playing with his friends when he noticed something strange. The sky turned dark, and loud noises filled the air. Sammy and his friends were scared and didn’t know what was happening.

They saw a big machine cutting down all the trees in the forest. The animals’ homes were being destroyed, and they had nowhere to go. Sammy knew they had to do something to save their forest.

Sammy gathered all the animals together and came up with a plan. They decided to talk to the humans who were cutting down the trees. They wanted to explain how important the forest was to them and ask them to stop.

The animals marched up to the workers and started talking to them. They explained how the trees provided food and shelter for all the animals. They showed the workers the beautiful birds and squirrels that called the forest their home.

The workers listened to the animals and realized the harm they were causing. They didn’t want to hurt the animals or destroy their homes. So, they decided to stop cutting down the trees and find another way to do their work without harming the forest.

The animals and the workers became friends, and they worked together to protect the forest. They built fences around the trees to keep them safe and planted new trees to replace the ones that were cut down.

Scene 1: The Forest

(Stage set with trees, birds chirping, and animals playing)

[Enter Sammy, hopping around happily]

SAMMY: (excitedly) Hey, Forest Friends! Let’s play!

BENNY: (hopping over) Sammy, I’m the fastest bunny here! Catch me if you can!

SAMMY: (grinning) Challenge accepted, Benny!

DOLLY: (bounding over) Count me in too! I love a good game of tag!

TERRY: (pleadingly) Sir, please help us protect our beloved forest!

WORKER 1: (reflecting) I didn’t realize how much harm we were causing. We don’t want to hurt you or destroy your homes.

WORKER 2: You’re right. We’ll stop cutting down trees. We’ll find another way to do our work without harming the forest.

FOREST ANIMALS: (relieved) Thank you!

(Animals and Workers work together, building fences around the trees and planting new ones)
