MAX: (Mockingly) Well, well, well. Look whom we have here, all by herself. What’s the matter, Emma? No friends to hang out with?

EMMA: (Nervously) Leave me alone, Max. I don’t want any trouble.

MAX: (Laughs) Trouble? Oh, I’m just having a little fun. But if you insist… (Raises his hand to push Emma.)

 

(Lily enters the scene, observing the situation.)

LILY: (Confidently) Hey, Max! Why don’t you pick on someone your size?

MAX: (Surprised) Lily, mind your own business!

LILY: (Stepping closer to Emma) Emma is my friend, and I won’t let you bully her anymore. It’s not right, Max.
